Legislation in the field of Taxation is constantly changing, not only with the annual Finance Act but with case law which requires that journals, newspapers and professional magazines be read regularly, and conferences attended on aspects of taxation which may have bearing on my clientele.
To this end I maintain a Continuing Professional Development programme which exceeds the minimum requirements laid down by the Institute of Taxation.
I now belong to the International Tax planning Association Which does not permit membership by individuals who work for government organizations. This permits the exchange of information and legitimate tax mitigation methods between members for the benefit of clients but which the respective government bodies may be unaware of.
My CPD Records for 2004 were examined and approved by my professional body as part of their random verification programme.
